a idea maybe????
i know i'm kinda new here but i liked the idea of a rider wich can do massive dmgdealing but when thrown of of creature useless (creatures cant get higher as lvl 20) wich might be an assasin skill to throw them of creatures or so and it looks like stone summit heretic-dolyak master-beastmaster enz wich u can find these beasts in hard areas for good beasts and in easy for beasts that will kinda suck like depending on just a melandru by figure of speech but as far as the storyline goes i have an idea to maybe it sucks for the ones that already did it but ok .....it goes just like the original but it goes further in the one way or another at new land and stuff oh yeah and my final is a question : will chapter 2 be a free upgrade or something buyable in store and will it be addable to your acount its original i sure hope so or GW will become a dieing game well yeah update me about this cause with chapter 2 i have no knowledge what so ever................

"I have never seen a assassin in a game steal someone gear."
you must not have played UO. Nothing more frustrating then someone disarming you, stealing your weapon, then killing you with it. Or fun depending on which side you are on hehe.
Can't do this anymore, they have insurance and blessings which negated this tactic.

Since the new class is rumored to have stealth, I think the assassin class should have dual wielding weapons that do massive damage. Compensate that with weak armor and stealth.
Stealth in battle, walk behind a typical W/Mo and stun them. Then add flurry with dual daggers and stab the hell out of them while they try to cast a heal on themselves. Opens up way for an elementalist and ranger to blast the poor warrior to death.
Also add the ability to attack the typical W/Mo on your team that charge out and TRY solo everything in SF. That would give a Monk's mana pool a rest for sure and take the blame off a monk for an idiot W/Mo! WooT!

why can't we play as charrs or some other class... why do we players have to be Human in the upcoming chapter 2 expansion?.. I'm just confused about it thats all.
Look at WoW (flame shield on) they let you play from all races (Trolls, Undead, Orcs, Humans, and the Turans) But in chapter 2, we will get Assassin and another class and that it? Kind of make sense that the players can only be on the good side and not fighting from different poinf of view.

I agree. Both are different games though. GW is only an MMO in a town.
In chapter two, they need to improve the engine so you can REALLY jump and fall off of cliffs, instead of being bound to a zone. I hate that restriction. I'd pick that freedom over another class. I still have my second account with a ranger and necro I still have to play

i fully agree but to make it easyer we should try a race that mostly does good to like elves and dwarfs or something but they must put it in good though wich i would admire if succesfull but still dwarfs shouldn't be to hard wich always is a race i love to play but still i if they do it i would like it not to be only cosmetic to give it that little twist u know more dmg but less speed......

On this thread suggesting assassin ideas http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=80738
I have suggested something to balance out invisibility. I suggest that all invisible effects be something that is called a cloak. Cloaks can be canceled out easily by skills like what I suggested which is Light of All Seeing. I also suggested that you become visable if you take damage so you could use AoE effects to make him visable.
Assassin: Ha Ha I'll become invisible you'll never find me ^_^
Monk: I'm using Light of All Seeing!
Assassin: WTF I'm visable again
Warrior: Hi meet my friends Knockdown and Aftershock
Assassin: AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I didn't bother to read all 19 pages of this, so Im not sure if this was mentioned or not, but in the article, at the very end, it says "Shadow Stepping from the room." I assume that there will be a skill called Shadow Step that will be some form of teleportation.

I belive its going to be a warrior/mesmer mix class. Where Its illision and swordsmanship or so have it. So I think there skills like "Dust Cloak" ir a illision type magic mixed with warrior skills. Aka my made up skill line up for it...
1. Predidors Strike (Damage + 10..26)
2. Shadow Boom (All Adjacent foes take 5..20 damage)
3. Feline Reflexes (75% Chance to evade or block attacks)
4. Shade Rush (Move 33% faster for 7...15 seconds)
5. Dust Cloak (For 5...10 seconds anyone attacking with melee is blinded for 5 seconds)
6. Faded Illusion (Target Foe loses 1..2 energy every time you hit with a attack){elite}
7. Armored Burden You Gain +30 Armor and Move 25% faster for 7..10 seconds but when Skill ends you loose 33% of health
8. Rez Sig
this is just a for fun skill line up...im just guessing that the armor for them will be around the 60ish 70ish...and weapon of choice is most likely the duel claws. The Speical skill that they carry is most likely agility whitch the higher it is the more percent that you can evade attacks or w.e
Just havin some fun with this none of this is accually true...

Even if the new class was a Poopsmith, almost EVERYONE will be one when it comes out.

i don't care what you all say, i think this is great
appearance wise i think they were obviously going for the mysterious, exotic, dark haired beauty thing.. or w/e. and i don't think nitpicking is needed here. if everyone changed people to look how they wanted... everyone would look the same. (= boring)
as for the class, i think it has amazing potential. i would venture to guess that they aren't going to include dual wielding, but if they do it would be awsome. it would do a significant amount more damage than a warrior weapon (say 140%) and would work out fine.
the class should have slightly less or a bit less than rangers in AL. and their skills should be about being fast, not noticed (maybe halving the size of your aggro circle or make that a built in character attribute) being able to dissapear for 6 seconds or w/e is no worse than the 20 ranger abilities that give you 75% evade on all attacks for 10 seconds. i think she will end up being either close range with daggers or long range with throwing daggers and shuikrens and the like. i think it will be a sweet class and plan to have one.
so to all you naysayers... i don't care.

YAY FOR THE ASSASSIN CLASS! Geez! Definitely the most original class to date
Javelin/Pike/Pole Arm/Spear class would be way better.
